Default Can 3.5W 2A3 amp drive proAc 1SC?

Hi,

I have a pair of clone proAc 1SC and would like to diy a 2A3 tube amp. I found out that the audionote kit 1 with 2A3 has power of 3.5W.
I'm mostly listen to vocal, and an average bass extension is good enough for me.
Can this amp drive the proAc in a room of approx 350sq ft?

Regards,
kokheng

The Only way is to audition it in Your settings and Your speakers....

There is just so much that can affect the perceived sound level, the furnishings in the room, the placement of the speakers the ambient noise-levels of the location etc.etc.--Just SO many variables, Personal taste figures highly in this question as well....

At a rated sensitivity of 86dB/1W/1M they're not going to play loud with a SE 2A3 amplifier. I would be inclined to contact the manufacturer to get some insight on the impedance curve and what they're thought is regarding damping factor. While you may be satisfied with the SPL level, the fact is, a SE amplifier has very low damping factor, usually low single digits. If these require some LF control the SE amplifier will simply not cut it.
