Should I worry about driving my 6SN7's with a 12.6 vdc supply and filament voltages dividing between tubes. I'm measuring a high of 6.4
and a low of 5.9vdc. Will this have any audible consequence?? Has anyone used AC filament with the Aikido?? |

You should be Ok wiring them in series, although if one goes open neither tube will heat and if one shorts you get the 12.6 across the other. I have my 4 wired in series and never had a problem....

If you're running them in series, you should have a constant current heater supply. And beware of heater-to-cathode voltage ratings!
