Impedance rate VS impedance stability

Hello everybody

I wanted to know :

Does a set amp prefer a 8 ohm (constant) driver or a driver which impedance go between 8 and 16 ohm ? (or between 6 and 16 Ohm) but mostly around 12 or 14 ohms

Well there are no such drivers but if you put any drivers into a sealed box with variovent it does the trick (apparently) to maintain the impedance stabe

So as my drivers are 16 ohm (well it doesn't mean anything i know) will it work better on set as set loves 16 Ohms

A set prefer a 16 Ohm than a 2 Ohm no ?

Maybe you should back up and give us a bigger picture as to what you are thinking or planning to do?

It is just a theorical question

what will give better result for the bass with a 5W set amp :

- a driver constant at 8 Ohm

-a driver that oscillate between 6 and 16 Ohm
