Looking for 12AT7/ECC81 phonostage schematic
I have been searching the net for a 12AT1/ECC81 phonostage schematic.
What I have in mind is like the RJM phonostage, but instead of 6dj8, it will use 12AT7/ECC81. Here is a link to RJM Phonostage. Has anybody done a similar circuit using 12AT7/ECC81? Any opinions if this project is worth pursuing? Thanks. |

I built this ECC81/12at7 circuit:
 Sounds quite excellent, I think I like it better than my 6dj8/6n1p RJM phonostage. Unfortunately, I cannot compare side by side, am using the 6dj8 phonostage chassis and PSU for the 12at7 circuit. Will listen and see if I can tweak it some more. |
