Default Telefunken Consoles: not just for tube and iron scavenging!

You thought those all-in-one receivers from the 60's Telefunken Consoles for cheap iron and some salvageable Tele tubes? They are almost too pretty to throw away. So, after some pounding, chiseling and sawing comes the newest audio fad:

The Telefunken Headboard.

Keeping vintage 12AX7's under your pillow is a bad idea. This is a much better way to let some of that Telefunken mojo seep into your cerebellum while you slumber.

p.s. my Grandma made me that quilt, so don't make fun of it.

Very Nice!

Did you build it so the speakers are still installed and boxed into the wall?

We're in a rental, built in 1915, with plaster walls. Knocking big holes behind it would be a problem. Just sinking plastic wall anchors was a PITA. There is actually a closet and staircase behind the wall. It'd work really well as an IB. Maybe I should buy a house. . .
