Default came across this nice 200W tube amp schematic

Not too many 200 watt tube amps other there. This one is a time tested design. Know of any other 100+ watt tube amps using kt88/6550?

Instead of using a tube amp to provide 200W, I think it will be way better to use speakers with high efficiency, let's say more than 96dB @ 1m.

Since the subject of SPL was introduced, here's an SPL calculator that will help determine audio levels using room size, seating location, watts available, speaker sensitivity, etc.

I OWNED AN AMPEG SVT 300W and with (2) 8 X !0" CABS AS MY PRIMARY GIG AMP BACK IN THE 70'S

I could never tell I was yelling for a week after a show and I am still paying my dues because of it.
Tinnitus is very real problem if over exposure occurs.
