Rachel's Corner - Shuguang

Rachel (GF's boss/dragon lady) has her own forum section on our site and has decided to post her first thread with an informative look at Shuguang.

I think you'll enjoy it and say Hi to her, not often we have a woman as involved in the business as her and she has good ears too. Which is why are speakers our taking so long to launch, one comment from her and I'm back inside redoing the crossovers.

Thanks, I enjoyed that. Do they really get 80% of their world business from 300Bs? I thought the guitar folks with their el34s & 6L6s would have dominated.

The pic showing EL34s piled up in a crate waiting for inspection does not inpsire confidence. Maybe that was the reject box.

I believe what the 80% meant was they make 80% of the world's 300Bs. Not sure on the EL-34 box of tubes, could be rejects as the other pics all show upright tube holders. I've only had one bad EL-34 from Shuguang in the past 2 years fail in or out of warranty.

Rachel's put up another one on Nanjing, whom I wasn't aware of. In China, considered their best NOS.
