Question Help on capacitor info...

Hello!

Well, I have just seen some really old SPRAGUE caps, but I'm not really sure what they are (electrolytic, paper in oil, etc...).

They dont look like VitaminQ caps... Any ideas?
They are about 2in X 0.7in.

Thanks!

Definitely not electrolytic. Probably PiO. Since they're "real old" be careful about using them. Some of those old PiO capacitors are quite leaky (not the oil, but rather current leakage). May be useful for bypassing electrolytics in power supplies.
