Default metal film resistors or carbon?

Hello everyone!!!

i'm convinced to order a Dynakit ST35 from dynakitparts.com and there are two versions: the cheap with metal film resistors and the expensive one with carbon resistors. I'm quite sure that metal film are the best for tube amps so, this should be the most expensive option, isn't it? or may be i'm wrong and carbon resistors works better with tube amps??

Thanks!!!!

Carbon resitors have a nice "tone" which often matches vintage tube amps. Depending on the exact type of resistors this may lead to unacceptable colourations but that's a question of taste.

Tube amp or not i'm perfectly happy with Caddocks.

Carbon composition or film?

If composition, I'd stay away from them as they are noisy and age very badly.

Cheers!
