Hello,
This is my first post. I have question about maximum voltage (B+)for Tango XE-20S. I'm interested in 813 single ended. But, I'm not sure, I can used XE-20S for 813SE OPT. I need to run 700-900V for B+. PS. I'm sorry about my english language is poor. |

mono_plate,
About your Tango XE-20S their spec go to 1000volts max at 80mA So at 800/900 Volts you are safe. Good diy. Alain.

Agree with Alain. Sure you can use XE-20S.
If I were you, I wish to go with Pete Millett's design (less microprocessor) but can not afford XE-20S budget, so think to use a pair of James 6135HS 5k/30w which is cheaper ($300 for a pair plus shipping from Taiwan). http://www.pmillett.com/813_se_triode_amps.htm |
