Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone has come up with a way of routing or nulling out the VDC that would be at the output of a Tube preamp's stage, so you do hnot have to use a coupling cap at the outputs? Ray Bronk |

Typically you use a negative supply on the tail of a CCS acting as the load for a Cathode Follower....
Adjust for 0 volt out..... The trick to keep the circuit locked in from drifting is closed loop feedback ......Output is DC sampled and sent to error amp to control the CCS grid.... Chris |

Hi Chris,
Well, I am looking at getting a GGP, and was thinking if only I could get rid of the damn coupling caps. It's using 12AU7 tubes. So probably to do what I want is probably not worth the effort. But I thought I'd at least ask. Ray Bronk |
