Any Mods for a Noisy Leak Point one Stereo?

I just bought a Leak stereo 50 and point one stereo preamp together as a package deal. Both have had all paper caps, electrolytics, and out of tolerance resistors replaced. The amp sounds great, but the preamp is extremely noisy, with an audible buzz I can hear in the next room. Are there any mods to lower the preamp's noise floor? It uses four EF86's, so in theory, it could be pretty quiet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it's worth the trouble? The Leak pre-amp has far too much gain for modern sources and a reputation for poor sound. If you want to keep the vintage look, just convert it to a passive unit. It is easy enough to bypass everything except the input switching and volume control without making any irreversible changes.
