I just inherited a truck load of old 60's Marconi Ch 25 base radios, 6 of em! They have a huge power transformer that powers a pair of 6883B beam power tubes:

Assuming that these were about 125-150W output, the supply might be about 600V @ 400 mA intermittent duty. The same transformer might give 450V at 400 mA continuous with a choke input supply - plenty for a push-pull 6L6 or EL34 amp. If it's a voltage doubler supply, it won't be as useful, maybe too low with a bridge, too high with the doubler...
