My OLD Project....... cheap tube audio project!!!
Since I was sick for several months & admitted in hospital. But............. before I sick, I did several projects already. holding on hands without funish....... Now I continous it already. Before I did this project I was considerate how can use limited money for one quailty tube amp? More diyers can afford! middle range power output, reasonable price, good sound. flexable or said multi-brands of tubes in market for user to exchage. Light weight, small size, good outlook...... & finally was cheap price. after my consideration, I did this alrady. pls see the out look of the chassis. compare the Nokia phone & chassis size! Two potted was 0.23mm thickness Z11 silicon laminations 20W PP OPT! thx thomas |

OK,
Although this is a cheap tube amp( Combine pre amp & power amp) But, Volume Control was very important for it. Cheap volume control will cause the input data loss too much & effect the sound stage. A good shielding also importnat for the volume control. After it, I call factory use PCB with tantalum resistors produce a cheap but high accurancy, low COST & price was most user or diyers can afford! If........ can use it for the standard arts for cheap tube amp will be the best! take a look for the volume control which use 0.5% SMD tantalum resistors. thx thomas |

Finally was the shielding of the Volume control.
I order factory raw solid copper shielding & will provide a full shielding & enclose for the SMD Tantalum resistors volumn control. thx thomas |
