Which perf board?

Is there a specific brand/model of perf board best for tube projects? Something with large enough holes at the right spacing to accommodate tube sockets and thick enough to take the stress of tube insertion and removal? I know about the specialized Chinese boards on eBay, but I am looking for a true perf board.

No such luck there. By "chinese" boards do you mean the ones with a socket or two in the middle and rows of turrets on each side?

What about an "experimenters board" with spaces for sockets and whatnot?

but I really want perf board. I think I will just buy the thickest I can find and hand drill the tube socket holes myself.
