OK, for today's dumb question:
I have an Aikido Pre (Bas' boards with power supply) and it is near complete. I am in the middle of a cross country move and my life is in a standstill at the moment. Question is this - can I make an amp with the Aikido front end connecting directly to a tube output stage? SE or PP? Is there a schematic?

Don't see why not. You can use a front end gain stage of all sorts of topologies. If doing a PP, you'll need a phase splitter of some sort. In this case, a good xfmr splitter might be the best way to go. |

Thanks Miles!!
I have available to me a Hammond 1650N Transformer (2 actually). I would need the phase splitter in front of the PP and after the aikido. Hmmm... Is this worth the trouble? Do you think it would sound good? Currently have a 6SL7 (or 6SN7 - long story) driving the 6L6GC...

Whoops, Sorry...here she is...
Just the input section. I will finish the remaining schematic later.
