Nope, it's about criticieng dubiously gear that you intend to sell on to an unsuspecting customer. Most people who buy tube (or any audio) gear are plug and play types and it's fair to expect that an item bought is going to work well, safely and reliably for a reasonable period of time. I do not believe, after 25 years of building tube gear that yours will.

As for I'll sell it for $20 comment: bollocks. The transformers alone will fetch a couple of times that at least not to mention NOS tubes. I suspect you intend to START it at $20 and see where it goes, not offer it as a $20 BIN, in which case caveat emptor.

I see some passion being generated here. It seems a long time since this happened on the tube amps forum but I suppose it was inevitable.

I only ask that people continue to maintain a polite tone. We can disagree without losing it . . . I hope.

Sadly I do not have the knowledge these big brained guys have...

But I did like the look of the amp.... at least where it is headed...

I'd be the first person to bid $20... to break it up for spares though... OPTs start at over $100 here...
