Hey guys,
im trying to build this amp: http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/...gg/lespaul.gif but am having trouble with the transformer: firstly i wouldnt know where to get the appropriate transformer or what specs it needs to be, i can see that one section needs to be 5v and the other 6.3, but what is the first bigger section needing to be, 100v? secondly, i live in aus, so the input needs to be 240 volt instead of 120 on the schematic. does anybody know where i could get the right transformer? im also willing to install an american transformer and just stepdown from 240 with a separate one to the 120 for the american transformer. thankyou |

This is very similar to the Fender Champ, which has parts that are widely available.
