Bogen Front End

I'm looking for some ideas for the front end on a Bogen MO-100A conversion.

I'm rebuilding power supply, converting to EL34 output tubes, but not sure about the 7247 input tube. Any suggestions for a decent input driver stage?

Hopefully bricktop will find this thread ... I sold him my old MO-200, and he redid it with a 6CL6 differential amp front-end. After tuning the global feedback, he got some great square waves and very low distortion.

Yep, seen the schematic and consulted him on his build. 6CL6's aren't that easy to find here though. Just thought about trying a more common tube ie: 6DJ8 ect.
