Default got an EC8020

To all

Browsing through the valve collection of a Dutch online shop I found, between ECHxx's and PCFxx's, am EC8020. Called the shop and they, unfortunately, had only one piece left that I bought for 31 euros. It arrived today, in a TFK box, but possibly not the original: EC8020 is handwritten - maybe the valve was so special that they did it for all . It looks perfect, all markings etc are very nice. Besides the telefunken, made in germany, it holds the code 207 and U9101700H, but I can not test it (filament is not open, measured with a DVM).

I reckon the 'unobtanium' value of this valve and therefore I am offering it to an active member of this forum that is passionate enough to put it to use (and that already owns one to make the pair) as a sort of a gift for all his/her efforts put in the forum.

I wanted to take a picture, but as one could expect, the batteries from my camera were empty. They are charging, and later (tomorrow) I will take a picture and attach it to a new post.

Erik

This is not that uncommon for Telefunken tubes, particularly for ones not manufactured by them.
