I came across an interesting schematic for a Cary 805C that heats the input driver and the 300B from one 6.3vac transformer.
The 6sl7 ends up at -1.75V / 4.1V (5.85V)
The 300B ends up at -1.75V/3.1V (4.85V)
In general, is this a good practice?
Would this work if the 300B did not use fixed bias?
