KT88 se build NO GAIN please help

hello there
i have just finished construction of an se kt88 stereo amplifier based on mikeal abdellas design.

however upon firing it up i noticed i am not getting any gain.
with a dual channel scope viewing the input and out output it can be seen theat the output is lower than the input (input just under 3v pk-pk and output just over 1v pk-pk)

all voltages throughout the amp seem fine

if any one who has build this amp has any ideas please let me know.

Output jacks shorted to chassis? Input jack shorted to chassis? Come back after a good night's rest and look very carefully for wiring errors.
Check for grounds where they don't belong and shorts with a dvm..
