Grounding points....

Where do most of you ground your signal to, if at all?

Back to the center tap of the trafo or to the chassis, but this can create a groundloop.

I construct each subsystem on its own circuit board, using the modified dead bug method. These boards being insulated from the chassis, and the ground planes being returned to the DC neutral of the PS. Input and output grounds are also connected to that neutral. This does a good job of eliminating ground loops and PS noise.

The DC neutral is connected to the chassis and safety ground by means of a ground lifter.

Similar to that of my Peavey bass-head, so just ground back to the center tap of the trafo, essentially. I suppose if all points are grounded back to there, there's little chance of anything buzzing since there's no resistive chain back to the center tap. And if the top plate of the amp is metal, it's surely safest to ground it to the earth
