I have a 1946"EIA" off CTS pots.Bogen J130 PA amp.I would like to convert it to a guitar head.I need some ideas and feedback from you guys.I think the amp is a paraphased PI.I have never seen a rect. power supply with such small mfd caps"choke 1st type?"I have been looking at the Ampeg B-15 and Fender Bassman widebase"1953"after TV type.Seems circuit and tube setup very simaliar.I would like to keep the stock tonestack if I can.The 2-6SF5 sockets, could be moded to be holding 2-6SL7 daul triodes"which I allready have".I will try to upload the schematic.Any ideas or help always welcome.I want to keep this easy as possiable.
