Wanted Arkay SP6, Knight 83YX768 schematics

Hi there I'm looking for schematics for two vintage preamps that I just bought today. One of them is an Arkay SP6, and the other is a Knight stereo preamp model 83YX768.

Also does anyone know anything about these kit preamps?

I think the knight preamp model is KP-50. 83 YX 768 is the allied electronics catalog number. sorry

ARKAY SP-6 is covered in Sams folder 502-5. Neither Knight number shows up in the Sams index.

I just bought the Arkay SP6 sams fotofact from eBay
It should arrive in Canada shortly

I know i am replying to an old post, but maybe I can help.

I bought and restored a knightkit kp 50 about 10 years ago. It was a wonderful unit. Sounded incredible. The model number for the unit is actually 83YX768. I got a complete manual and schematic from:

A. G. Tannenbaum's Catalog - A MANUALS

ALLIED/KNIGHT 83YX768 STEREO PREAMP W FOLDOUTS ASSY/OP $24.00es

It was worth every penny. I got the schematic, then went down to kinko's and had it enlarged. You should call their phone number and confirm it's the correct manual before ordering.

If you want any advice on rebuilding the unit, please e-mail me. If I had 2 nickels to rub together, I would buy every kp-50 I could find and restore them all.
