Yes we all love it, although it's been posted a couple of times already

What had +ve image modulation, 10.125KHz horiz, AM sound and no equalising pulses?

Kevin, you get the prize I'd thought 405man would answer...
Looking back it seems like all the wrong decisions were made. But at least we had a properly defined black level

Thoroughly off topic...

NTSC - Never twice the same color

SECAM - Something essentialy contrary to the american method (ie typically french)

PAL - Perfect at last

Cheers,

Further OT:

Just about a year to go before on air ntsc analog broadcasting ends here.

Me, I've still good me good old Sony V series set, ntsc with digital chassis, ancient s-video i/o. Low rez all the way, and it's a real back breaker to move, weighing in at about 80lbs.. I'm waiting for the led back lit sets to show up in stores, I still find the color of fluorescent back lit flat screens a little odd. (getting better though) Prices need to be lower. I can either have nice tube hifi projects or an expensive tv, not both, and everyone here knows what I chose..

Back on topic...

Carry on!
