Default Subwoofer out question.

Let's say that I want to build a integrated amplifier with 50K pots on the input. Let's also say that I wanted to control the volume of a subwoofer amp using the same 50K pots. Could I take the signal off of the wipers of the pots to the subwoofer amp in parallel with the grid of the input tube of the amplifier? I am using a Aragon A2D2 DAC and I believe that it can handle the load but I will soon be adding a turntable to my system so I guess I would need to make sure that the phono stage that I use would handle the load also. Does my question make sense?

You'd probably want to buffer it. The takeoff point is high impedance and prone to noise pick-up. This is a perfect spot to use a FET-input opamp.

Or you could use a cathode follower if you didn't want to break the thermionic faith. I'd use a source follower.
