The frequency response will be limited by the core lamination, I don't think they can sound very good...
at our side of the world, 0.35mm lams are called Z11, an M6 equivalent.....i used them to build output traffos....

Low resistance windings are really very important; I don't understand why people take mediocre or worse output transformers to mate with what is regarded one of the best output tubes, but yes I know: output transformers don't glow....
For that Chinese OPT: take a triode connected EL34 or something like that, with a 300B the tube is "a flag on a **** boat" (translation of Dutch saying....).

No sure that a triode connected EL34 is worst than a Chinese 300B when inserted between a clean driver and a decent OPT

I agree, it shines less !
