Hello,

A few quick questions.

Is it harmful to bend the tube terminals a little ( 45 degrees ? ) to make wiring a little easier?

Does anyone have any good tips in making good mechanical connections with resistors and caps on the same terminals mentioned above? I already have done some and find it to be a really slow process. I am using magnifiers, tweezers and patience so far.

Thanks

Gary

No, they often come that way. Obviously you don't want them to touch the chassis, however. If you pre-bend the leads into a small hook with a pair of chain-nose pliers, loop it through the terminal and squeeze it tight with ordinary needle-nose pliers, a good mechanical connection can be had.
