Update:
New 45 and 50 tubes are apparently available from TJ (search TJ Tubes). These are Chinese and I can not vouch for the quality thereof. They are not cheap either. If anyone has ever used these tubes, do us all a favor and let us know about them.
 
I think it was 2K5, but could've been 5K.
To be correct - 3,5K ... 5K.

The EL156 are pretty rare, but actually are available. The original tubes had a strange socket, but newly produce fit into an octal.

For a short period I even had a SE-amp, but when setting up my gear at a local DIY-meeting I dropped one of the tubes 2" and that was it.
