Hey people...
I'm starting with diy projects, and I have this question in my mind.. in a guitar amp project, using a tube poweramp, could I use a SS preamp section without a great loss of sound quality, or a tube preamp will be better anyway? The point is... if I do something like this, I'll only use the amp with its "natural" clean sound (with the warmth of the poweramp tubes), using some pedals to generate the distorted sound... |
