Wanted:Power transformers for Welborne DRD 300B amp
Like many others I had a bad experience with Welborne labs, and did not get what I ordered. I know mamy other customers have half kits..
If anyone of you are sitting on parts I am interested in buying what I am missing for the 300B DRD amplifier: 1. 2 x Universal Power transformer, to make 550VDC from 230VAC, (may use 115V primary).. 2. Electraprint Choke AC8037 3. back plate 4. Wooden chassis. The critical part for me is the power transformers, Duncans PSU designer indicates that the generic ones from Hammond etc will not give 550V at desired current... Best regards Sleiven |
