Hello,

I have read how to match mosfets on the PASS DIY website. Seeing as triodes operate in a smilar manner. i was wondering if it would be possible to build something for tubes that would work sort of the same.

Can someone help me design such a device for triodes?

A power supply with either, a plate or Cathode resistor with a meter across it and an adjustable voltage divider arraignment to bias the grid to the idle current the tube will be run at.

Grab one tube at random, adjust the bias to the idle current to be used. then leaving all settings the same, test the other tubes one at a time taking note of the readings for each tube + or -

I have a large box of tubes and i would like to find groups that are at least close to each other.

Thanks
