Hello
I Just read that the 6C33C-EB or 6C33C-ES have a 3000 hour service life instead of 1000 hour. I did expect some reliability problems with some 6C33C-B . Should this be an issue ! regards ger56 |

For Audio usage the service life is very long, easily exceeding 10000 hours. I have used the same set of tubes in my OTL for more than 6 years without problem and even longer in a SET amplifier. My experience is that 6C33C tubes have longer life than more common power tubes like EL34. In short, don't worry! Regards Hans |

The 6C33C data sheet includes an operational temp range of -60 to 100 degrees C, and also a maximum acceleration rate, (rectifier tube, jet fighters for the use of)! Unless you are trying to get 60W out of them, they should last a long time.
