Default a litle description

76 is loaded with a 33k restsitor biased with an unbypassed 1k5 cathode resistor, direct coupled to 1/2 a 6sn7 which is a cathode follower loaded by a 20k cathode resistor.

There is a 1uF dc protection cap on the output and a 1 meg shunt resistor to maintain stability should it be disconnected from the power amp while it is turned on.

B+ is 400v, there is no decoupling between V1 and V2 but the two channels are seperated by a pair of final LC stages.

It is very elegant and as an early design has been borrowed from many fold.

I doubt if anybody will post it because it's copyrighted material from Sound Practices.

If you want something similar, search for JE Labs 76 pre-amplifier which is derived from Berman's.
