Looking for a small yet powerful pentode / dual triode?

How much gain do you need? You could you a noval tube like the 12AX7, JJ's ECC83-S is nice.

6E5P (6Э5П) is a tetrode that appears to have high gain and low Z (can actually works on it's own as headphone or small amp).
