Question met. MKP in oil capacitors for PSU?

Hi!

I'm wondering about types of metalized polypropylene in oil capacitors to use in my powersupply.
I've found that three manufacturers are commonly used and that there are some controversy about which is the "best".

There have been some hype for some time on the ASC motorrun ones. ASC has now made the blue-line serie as an answer to this demand.

General Electric makes their "general purpose" range that includes the 660VAC line of Gem III series.

Aerovox (US) makes two series that are compatible: The type H and the Aero met II M-series motorrun.

What is your opinion?
Have anyone experience with using several of these - and can compare?
Are there other such type capacitors/brands that needs to be mentioned?

Is it possible to say if any of these is "better" than the other?

Looking very much forward to your input and reading about your experience.

Best Regards
Aril

Obligato from diyhifisupply would be another option.

Thank you 'andRookie'!
I forgot to mention the Obligato's!
Are they metalized MKP in oil - or some other oil-filled type?

- No one that knows, have heard or tried anything?

- I only know what others have reported on other sites about comparisons and experience. I see that some have reported oscillation with the ASC motorrun caps in PSU ...
I haven't seen any report the same with GE's or Aerovox' - and what about the obligato's?
The general concensus seem to be that this type of caps in a PSU is far superior to all(?) other types ...
Anyone to comment?

Regards
Aril
