Obviously you are seeking a different type of presence control. The only application I know of for this type of EQ is in guitar amps, and in those the presence removes negative feedback in the treble to give a boost in the treble in a different manner than a regular tone control circuit. I guess it's reason for existance is increased treble with good dampening at the bass end, and less dampening factor at treble??? The circuits you posted does that, reduces the high frequency NFB.
What kind of different way do you want to achieve this, and why? |

Are you looking for boost or cut? This looks like a high shelving filter either for use in a power amp global feedback loop to boost highs or in a preamp to cut them. What is the topology of the amp?

You are going to have to be much ,much more specific. We can definately help you out but not unless we know what we are helping with since there are 1,000,000 ways to do it, but without know int the topology, what you are feeding, the Zin the Zout, active or passive, which frequencies you are interested in, how much boost or cut, if you are about phase response, if you want a shelf or a pass filter etc etc etc.

Is this thing for hifi or guitar use? If guitar or MI go to Duncan amps website and download his tone stack designer software.
