Hi,
Anyone have a source for a decent connector for the anode pin of these tubes ? I have made some from brass sheet but I have seen some very pretty ones on commercial amps. Andy |

Common method is to use a piece of whatever metal, id = that of the 829B's pin, and a small setscrew.
make the od the same size as a common anode cap (1/4", 3/8" etc).. sort of an adaptor rather than a one piece deal. |

Or just use "female" pin connectors, like the audio amp manufacturers use for these.
