Hi All
I would appreciate any information as to whether any Company or Individual can offer Amorphous Double C Core's ~ either Wound up as Transformers or Kits ? Also I would be interested in opinions as to who makes the Best Double C Core Transformers ~ in either M6 or Alloy Ta! |

You could try ae-europe , I am in no way affiliated but have a set of amorphous SE output transformers from them.
Build and delivery can take a while but they are nicely potted when they do arrive. Also heard that Tribute in The Netherlands are also very good. Regards, Ian |

Thank you for the input gents
I have sent a couple of inquiry emails to ae in the past ~ Unfortunately never to receive any replies ? Out of curiosity what did you guys build with your respective OPT's ? Rgds Roger |

I am building a C3G/PX25 DRD at the moment with my transformers from AE.
They supplied the lot, mains, chokes, plate chokes and output transformers. I am really happy with the build quality, only just testing the first of the monoblocks so can't quite say about sound quality just yet, but it took them ages to deliver them all, had to chase them quite a lot too. I think that it was agreed to be about 8 weeks for delivery but ended up about 5 months in the end. |
