I attempted to model a heater power supply circuit as described
by Morgan Jones [page 359 3rd ed] based on LM317 regulator. With an output load resistance of less than about R200 the output voltage drops and oscillates. Has anyone else had similar problems. I'm assumming it is a problem with the LM317 model [which is hard to find on the net] and does not really happen in reality. Does anyone have a good model for the LM317. regards Paul |
