What can I do with this?

This is a Paco amp\preamp. Anybody know anything about it? I believe it was a kit, but no entirely sure. It's missing the 3amp fuse and the screw piece, so I dont know if it works or not. Any help or ideas appreciated.

There are schematics available for purchase online for it and Sam's photofacts has it as well, but I can't find any that are free.

I looked for schematics and cannot find anything. What does it cost to refurbish something like this and is it worth it?

sounds like a fun learning project. I'ld replace the electrolytics in the power supply (they could blow + contemporary caps are better quality) and test the amp. The design is probably ***** so you could enhance the circuit step by step. All this needn't cost much.

Model SA-40 is in Sams folder 505-9. Check with your local library - many can get them for cost of copies.
