How much difference 0.22 vs 0.33 cap?

I am currently using a 0.22uf output cap for my preamp. But I have to output to a sub which is 30k input compared to my power amp which is 100k. for 0.22u and 30k, 3db frequency is now 24Hz, so it looks like I have to change to a 0.33uf cap to get better response. However, I can also boost the bass with my sub's high-pass filter some.

My question is then, what will I lose with the 0.33 over the 0.22? And is it necessary?

If it were me I would be looking at least 1uF. 24Hz is far too high. Even your original values give 7Hz cutoff which again is not really that great.
