looking for some PP 6BM8 schematics. (Dave it seems that what I thought were SE trannys are in fact PP).

As the wave 8's had received good press, I'd like to emulate them. I have the tubes, the sockets, a 5GR4 based power supply, a phono stage. just want to add a couple of pairs of RCA inputs, a good ground, and an attenuator.

Somewhere I thought Moray had modded sopme pairs of these. Moray are you out there?

I thot i had a Wave 8 map but can't find it.... it is a gain stage>concertina>ouyput stage topology. All of the following bit 1 are the same topology. Hopefully from the lot you'll find an agrreable set of passive parts...

probably...think I'll bring my wife,a day or two early and "sight see". I may be able to break down Hemp8/OBs , and a t-amp intergrated. If I can get the tube amp done maybe that too...sorry no turntable.... hm,, the replinth travels well...

and for the schems..

you bet...

Nanook: you will need to give ne a little time to dig the schematic up for the Wave 8 they are nice amps. Do you need output transformers? I have a set from a pair of Wave 8's. I had Joseph Lau build me a set of ultra linear transformers for one of the sets I owned (three pair in all). If you need output transformers send me a PM they are yours. Regards Moray James.

Wow...both of you are quick "on the draw" ;)

I have some PP output trannys and the Powwer supply trannys as well. Was planning on a intergrated version of sorts. I am sure the trannys are all Hamond, even though I can't find anything on them (Sparton Radio of Canada reciever is the donor).

apparently a 12M6 amplifier of sorts (RCA under liocence to Sparton).

Thanks both, I gotta get some sleep:)
