Thinking of experimenting with a choke-loaded amp, using an old microwave Tx as the choke-load, and a standard audio O/P Tx for the impedance-matching capacitively coupled across the choke...
What effect would the 'air-gap' in the O/P Tx have on performance, and should I close the gap, which is only there to deal with the DC component which now would not be present.... Not done this type topology before, just wanted to experiment....Any help appreciated...
