I took this amp apart and carefully made a schematic as I went, and now i've lost the schematic. I cannot find this anywhere on the web. I tried to connect it from memory to no avail.
Specifically I need the schematic for the PSU; it has a 5AR4 rectifier along with 5 caps(60, 25, 40, 40, 20 [500V]). There is a 10w 1.5 kOhm wirewound resistor connected to pin 8 of the rectifier- I had connected this to the (+)terminal of the 60uF cap along with the centre-tap lines from the OPTs- assuming this was my positve volatge- am I incorrect?

Try pinging Tom Bavis. IIRC, he has the AA-50 schematic.

You rang?
I'm afraid I don't have that one... but it's one of the few Heathkits that was covered in Sams Photofacts... folder 544-7 to be exact. Check with your local library... |

Their website appears to be down... I'm assuming that the 'check my local library' comment was facetious? Or might the Fresno, California Public Library have information I can use?
