Default Need help

Hi all,

I need some help in changing some values in a tone control circuit. I've tried contacting the author, but with no luck. I wish to use the circuit in a stereo preamp but cannot get 500k dual lin pots. so wish to substitute 100k pots. What specific value changes do I need to make to allow this.

The circuit can be found here: http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/tubes...s/toneampm.gif

Thanks.

500K dual inline pots........oh yes you can. Try www.Mouser.com
part/stock numbers eg, 313-1250-500k
or my favourite 31VW505.

If you changed to 100K the loading may upset and create more thd.

Hope this helps

In the tone circuit? You can also try 1M. Then halve the cap values.

Cheers!
