Hi all,
I need some help in changing some values in a tone control circuit. I've tried contacting the author, but with no luck. I wish to use the circuit in a stereo preamp but cannot get 500k dual lin pots. so wish to substitute 100k pots. What specific value changes do I need to make to allow this. The circuit can be found here: http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/tubes...s/toneampm.gif Thanks. |

500K dual inline pots........oh yes you can. Try www.Mouser.com
part/stock numbers eg, 313-1250-500k or my favourite 31VW505. If you changed to 100K the loading may upset and create more thd. Hope this helps richj |

In the tone circuit? You can also try 1M. Then halve the cap values. Cheers! |
