Hey
After taking to bits and old old record deck with built in amp i found a number of tubes in it along with other bits (transformers etc) and the two tubes in it were a ECC83, which i have no problem finding info on and also a Brimar EM87. I carnt find any infomation on this and curious about the light strip on the back. Any body got any circuit ideas for this? using the ECC83 as the preamp and the EM87 at the output. Regards Damon |

EM87/6HU6 is a 'magic eye' tube - used for tuning/output levels/etc
see the bottom of http://www.vacuumtube.com/eyetubes.htm for some ideas |
