John,
One of our Audio Guild (here in Melbourne, Australia) members has been using these tubes in his own design driving Lowther TP1 enclosure. IMO these tubes are wide bandwidth and will benefit from a good output transformer. Sovtek in this set up is just a midrange tube. Svetlanas have had reliability problems. Although I have listened to WE tubes, I did not have the opportunity for a comparative evaluation. It is too early to comment on reliability. These tubes have been in service for 3 months |

the mesh 300B max consume 27W, it mean the cathode must use 1.5K resister. our we300B is 40W can use 880ohm~1K resister.
If u use 1K or 880ohm, the mesh tube will short life. thanks Thomas |
