Here's the circuit: http://img340.imageshack.us/my.php?i...biasccsfs9.gif
I have a feeling it is measured across R1. Is this right Also, do I need to have a load? I am thinking of just the transformer -> rectifier -> choke -> cap -> CCS circuit. nothing else after it. Do I need to connect the negative terminal of CCS circuit anywhere if it's okay if there no load? thank you. |

The voltage across r1 is approx 14 volts. so using ohms law you can calculate the resisitir for r1. If you need to drawer 20ma you will use a 680 ohm resistor. Fine tune the current setting with the pot.
